Our Story

 

Ying and Robert both have a history in the restaurant and hospitality field, and both have a long list of accolades to show their success. Robert, with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, has been with The Blind Rabbit as a managing partner and “Spirit Commander” for over four years. So far, he’s assisted the establishment in acquiring the title of Best New Bar in Anaheim, courtesy of CBS News, the Golden Foodie Award for Best Cocktails in 2015, Best Speakeasy in Orange County, and Best New Restaurant in Anaheim.

Ying has experience working in the corporate structure and focuses on the organization and accountability that holds The Blind Rabbit to the highest standard. Having a degree in Social Ecology with an emphasis on Psychology and Social Behavior, Ying understands the importance of the skills needed for guest relations and has the capabilities and know-how to lead teams of highly dynamic people into highly functioning selling machines. Ying’s most recent accomplishments include refining and implementing a buyout package for The Blind Rabbit where parties can book various packages that allow them to choose menu items and a cocktail list to create an experience very personal to the patron. Ying has also included upsales on photo packages and cocktail classes for customers and spearheaded the “Sipping Service” and gift card and collector programs. These programs over the last year have helped The Blind Rabbit to make record sales.

The force that is Ying and Robert is not one to be reckoned with. They understand the hard work and dedication it takes to open, manage and stay on top of the game in the competitive restaurant industry in Orange County.
